Missed Booking Policy
6-Week Term Classes
We understand that sometimes you may not be able to attend a class. While we don’t offer make-up sessions or class swaps during the term, an Open Studio session is available to book as part of your term package. This is an unsupervised session that gives you the chance to catch up on missed work or enjoy some extra clay time at your own pace.
Workshops & Short Courses
Unfortunately, make-up sessions are not available for one-off workshops or short courses. These sessions are designed with specific content for a set date, and your seat is reserved just for you. As such, they can’t be transferred or made up at a later time.
Why This Policy?
We know it can be annoying when life gets in the way of making, however this policy helps ensure fairness for all students and allows us to run a smooth, well-prepared studio environment. Thank you for understanding!
Booking Reservation Policy
For our 6-week courses, we offer a $45.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your place for later in the year. Opening up our classroom for you to book & plan well in advance of attending. Where you have booked with a $45.00 deposit, this is non-refundable. However where a cancellation does occur, please let us know asap & we’ll be happy to provide you a credit note to attend our classroom at a different date.
Where a change or swap needs to be made on your booking, we’ll provide you with a $45.00 credit & you will be welcome to purchase a different time slot that is available on our website. Where a class is “sold out” we can not provide access to that class, as it is full.
The final amount remaining on your booking will be invoiced 4 weeks prior to class beginning, you’ll then have 14 days to complete the payment. Ensuring your booking is fully paid for 2 weeks prior to the course start time.
Where payment has not been made 14 days prior, your booking deposit will be lost & your booking cancelled. We’ll then offer this seat to our waitlist & the class is no longer reserved for you.
Where less than 14 days notice is given for cancellation of your booking with us, you will no longer have the option of a credit note for your reservation price of $45.00. This is due to the administrative cost involved with filling, finding & replacing your lost booking at short notice.
