We love a seconds sale. It’s certainly a reason to get excited. Not only do we as ceramic artists love the opportunity to cleanse our studios of surplus ceramics. But we absolutely love giving a home to pieces that may have missed out on becoming market stock or website stock.
At a ceramics seconds sale you can expect to see a selection of works that may have a slightly different glaze result than we desired, or maybe their shape is a little quirky… Or sometimes, they just simply didn’t turn out how we envisioned. As artists, we often put our best foot forward, and many ceramic items are perfectly loveable & find themselves at a seconds sale.
